In addition to exclusive cosmetics, subscribers also receive extra perks, including Fortnite Battle Pass access and a V-Bucks grant.
June 2024's Fortnite Crew Pack remains available until 8 PM EDT on June 30th, so players can still claim Jing until that date. However, it's worth looking closer at the Crew Pack's contents before subscribing.

Take A Closer Look At This Month's Exclusive Outfit
According to reliable Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey on X, the July 2024 Fortnite Crew Pack will feature Persephone. Like some previous Crew Pack Outfits, Persephone can actually be encountered on the Fortnite island as an NPC at the Underworld Named Location. Players can visit her to see what she looks like in-game or check out the video above from the YouTuber Comrad3s.
Character NPCs in Fortnite sell useful items and services; some can even be recruited as AI squadmates. Persephone sells an Epic-quality Harbinger SMG (300 Gold Bars), a Rift ability (250 Gold Bars), and the Patch Up service (100 Gold Bars).
Based on the leaked promotional art, Persephone appears to come with matching Pickaxe and Back Bling cosmetics, which can be equipped to make her in-game appearance more cohesive. However, neither has been officially confirmed as of writing. In addition, based on recent Crew Packs, subscribers will receive an alternative LEGO minifigure style for Persephone, so the Outfit can be used when building settlements and recruiting villagers in LEGO Fortnite.
Subscribers can also expect Crew Legacy Styles for Persephone. These alternative Outfit Styles unlock for each month players maintain their subscriptions:
- Stygian Legacy Persephone for staying subscribed for a total of two months.
- Auric Legacy Persephone for staying subscribed for a total of three months.
- Phase Legacy Persephone for staying subscribed for a total of four months.
- Rimebound Legacy Persephone for staying subscribed for a total of five months.
- Cosmic Legacy Persephone for staying subscribed for a total of six months.
This essentially provides some incentive to maintain a subscription long-term. The Pickaxe and Back Bling cosmetics also receive these Crew Legacy Styles to match.
Crew Legacy Styles for previous Fortnite Crew Packs, including Jing, Spirit Hunter Saeko, Ares, Katt and Lana Llane will be available for subscribers, depending on when their subscriptions started.
The quality of Fortnite Crew Pack Outfits will vary month by month, so it's ultimately up to players to decide whether a subscription is worth the cost. However, even if the monthly Character Outfit isn't a strong offering, the extra perks may be enough to tip the scales.

All Of The Extra Bonuses For Subscribers
Each Crew Pack contains a range of useful perks for dedicated players:
- Access to the premium track of the Fortnite Battle Pass (currently Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3)
- 1,000 V-Bucks to spend in the in-game Item Shop.
- Rocket Pass Premium for Rocket League (currently Rocket League Season 15)
To access the premium rewards from the Battle Pass, players must typically spend 950 V-Bucks up front. A pack of 1,000 V-Bucks costs $8.39, so it's worth noting that a Fortnite Crew subscription isn't significantly more expensive.
Each Battle Pass contains dozens of cosmetics, including several season-exclusive Character Outfits with full sets of themed character cosmetics. This also includes rarer cosmetic items like Loading Screens, Lobby Music Tracks, and Contrails.
The Battle Pass also contains a Character Outfit set, which can be unlocked through completing exclusive quests and packs of V-Bucks. Enough V-Bucks can be claimed from completing the premium track to purchase future seasonal Battle Passes without spending money.
1,000 V-Bucks is also a big draw that players should note if they frequently enjoy purchasing cosmetics. The Fortnite Item Shop features a near-constant rotation of new and returning cosmetics ranging from past characters to familiar faces from movies, TV shows, other video games, and even real-life music icons.
Fortnite's best premium content is usually found in the Item Shop, with high-quality cosmetic sets often selling for thousands of V-Bucks. As such, frequent purchasers may benefit from the V-Bucks offered by the Fortnite Crew.
Finally, subscribers also receive Rocket Pass Premium for Rocket League. This is a more indirect benefit for Fortnite players who also enjoy Psyonix's high-octane car soccer game. Rocket Pass is essentially Rocket League's own version of a battle pass, containing dozens of car cosmetics and other items, such as Goal Explosions for making a real statement on the pitch. As such, a subscription effectively grants two premium Battle Passes for a comparatively lower price.
A Fortnite Crew subscription is worth more than the stated price, with the Battle Pass, Rocket Pass Premium, and 1,000 V-Bucks all included. With an exclusive Character Outfit and matching cosmetics included on top, it's arguably a great value proposition. However, it's worth noting that many of the perks are beneficial only to serious players who regularly play Fortnite and can take full advantage of everything on offer.
