The story of how it happened and why our move to a hyper connected world has made the high-tech equivalent of tripping over an electrical cord and unplugging a server the rag, gasoline, and match that could bring about a worldwide disaster.

Compared to the standard broadband connections, leased lines provide a dedicated set of bandwidth, ensuring consistent and symmetrical upload and download speeds. Additionally, they have enhanced security features, like dedicated connections and optional encryption, making them ideal for businesses managing sensitive data or needing secure remote access for their network.Know More ; gripa.in ............#gripa #gripaitsolutions #internetleasedline #leasedline #connectivity #bandwidth #need #secure #remote #spectra #spectrabroadband #spectrainternet #reliable #managing #managedinternet

99.9%We often come across digital products or services boasting 99.9% effectiveness, uptime, or availability. However, no system is perfect, making a 100% guarantee impossible. But what does 99.9% reliability mean in practical terms?0.1% x 365 days x 24 hours = 8.76 hours 8.76 hours per year sounds reasonable for scheduled maintenance and/or upgrades. Yet, this calculation doesn’t account for unpredictable BLACK SWAN events, which can easily exceed these estimates. Therefore, we should take these 99.9% uptime claims with a pinch of salt and consider potential vulnerabilities in our reliance on such services.#LBFAlumni #SkyHighTower

so why do we do what we do??The Hidden Clockwork: Why Accurate Time on Computer Networks Matters. In the digital age, precise timekeeping is essential, especially on computer networks. Just a minor time difference can disrupt critical operations, leading to security breaches, financial losses, and operational headaches.Maintaining Order in the ChaosImagine a network of devices operating on their own timelines. Emails would arrive out of order, databases would conflict, and synchronized tasks would crumble. Accurate time ensures events are recorded and processed correctly, maintaining order in the complex world of interconnected systems. The Importance of SynchronizationThe Network Time Protocol (NTP) is the hero behind the scenes, synchronizing devices to a common time reference. This ensures everyone is on the same page, metaphorically speaking. Why It Matters.Accurate timekeeping is crucial for various reasons: * Security: Time plays a vital role in cybersecurity. Timestamps on logs and transactions help identify and prevent intrusions. * Finance: Financial markets rely on split-second precision. Accurate time ensures fair and secure trading. * Compliance: Many industries have regulations requiring accurate timekeeping for data integrity and audit purposes.By prioritizing accurate timekeeping, you can ensure a smooth-running, secure, and reliable network.if you have timing in frequency requirements on your network please don't hesitate to get in touch. chris.slater@timefreq.comhttps://www.timefreq.com/#NetworkTiming #TimeSynchronization #AccuracyMatters #NTP #DistributedSystems #CyberSecurity #timefreq

Anybody ever heard of FirstNet? Know what that is? Well, it's a footnote that is not even mentioned with this outage. After you review/search FirstNet, let me know what you think the vulnerability might be. HINT: Consider this. We are over relying on cellular radio and were moving away from point-to-point POTS... What is the first thing you want to do in Warfare? Thoughts?

Thank you, CrowdStrike and Microsoft, for revealing the vulnerabilities in our internet backbone. A seemingly simple software update can disrupt global computer systems. If such a minor glitch can have such a broad impact, what would happen with a more severe incident? 😮This serves as a stark warning for our electricity grid. Imagine if the CrowdStrike update had hit global grid systems instead of airlines. Flights might be delayed, but without electricity, those computer systems would be boat anchors! Our grid faces multiple vulnerabilities daily—from weather extremes to fires and overextension. Recent events show our electricity supply teetering on the brink of collapse almost daily. Yet, utilities are not equipped to address these issues anytime soon. It’s up to you to safeguard your business, operations, employees, and inventory.ClimaFi is here to help. We specialize in designing resilient, reliable, and financially optimized microgrid systems. Time is not on your side! Contact us today to start armoring your electricity supply against the next grid disaster.#crowdstrike #update #grid #microsoft #electricity #microgrid #armor
